for those using air hoses for water supply, what size hose do u use and where do you get the fittings for the ends? Links and pictures would be super cool too.

All poly hose works great in most cases except when it's bitter cold.

The rubber/poly mix or rubber is still pliable when freezing.

Don't store any hose with water in it. That's a PITA to thaw and ruins some hoses.

3/8 works....tried the 1/4 but to small for any amount of volume at long distances......

I bought it from Harbor freight and got the rubber pvc hybrid
http://www.harborfreight.com/air-to...avy-duty-pvcrubber-hybrid-air-hose-60358.html

went with some fittings from the local hose place for QD, thinking it would be better then unscrewing anytime something happened......i only have it on the 1st 50', that way if i have to quickly unhook for some reason, i can

oh and for a reel, or to have an extra reel for extra hose.....CAN NOT BEAT IT

When using these hoses, do they lay flat on sidewalk, or do they curl up?
My current heavy duty rubber water hose lays completely flat. Got to worry about running them across sidewalks here in S.F and potentially tripping someone.
