The house was built in1967 .Most of the floor looks good. The owner removed some carpet and this part of the floor is clean but darker than the rest. The floor is clean and lighter where it was sealed. What is the best way to clean and lighten and seal the dark part to match the rest of the floor. Thank you jz.

Sealed with a topical, correct?

You'll have to strip it all off for starters..

You can either then polish with diamond pads or slop a few coats of topical back on..

You can do a pretty darn good job with Monkey/Cheatah type pads under a 100 pound machine on Terazzo, Travertine and some Limestones.

Marble should be left to the real diamond and stone machine boys.

Would brillo type pads work and maybe some cleanser to make the old dark floor lighter to match what was cleaned prior, making it whiter and brighter. jz
