I picked up a used drip pan for free and it's horribly nasty... Anyway to restore/clean a drip to look nice again?? Products to use? Thanks

I would soak it over night in Purple Power/Butyl and than scrub/sand it back to a shine or some sort with a Makita type sanding disc

I gave up on drip pans and just have a liner sprayed throughout. Up the walls 6-inches and down and out the door steps with a barrier between the seats.

It seems like the drips pans held the water until you moved the vehicle and then it was a wet mess everywhere.

When I had mine made for the 870ss I had the sides and back edges bent up a quarter inch. The front edge is flat so any water goes into the door well. They also welded the back corners were they bent the edges.

The last one we had made we had bent up 4-inches and welded at the seams. It also had a drain tube made in it so the water would have somewhere to go.

It helped but it didn't work as well as I had hoped since it didn't slant towards it.
