It is a very good wand. I have two.

I do wish it would not cost as much. And considering the cost I was pretty annoyed that the wand cracked at the weld that holds the pressure valve, due to a design flaw. At that price Prochem should have fixed it at their own cost and not have me buy a new valve reinforcing kit.

Still a very good wand, I use it every single day and it is by far my favorite.
Haven't tried the Westpac Jim loves.

Here is a photo of the WORST $1500 wand ever made in the history of carpet cleaning . . .
Cast Titanium head pop-riveted to a stainless tube . . .
After the 4th rework to reattach the head . . .
Still has nice "Attic" though Mike . . .

Prochem should have recalled all of these faulty designs . . .

Prochem should have been sued over this faulty design . . .

I called those the "bi-ti's" worst idea Prochem ever had. They were exchanging them out. This person needed to take it back where they bought it to get the exchange. That was several years ago though.....probably won't do it anymore. PC might send them a ti tube and pay someone to TIG weld it on. Worth a shot to ask.

Take care,
Lisa

Larry with the same mentality you shared above, should Mytee get sued for all of the cracked carbon fiber tubes on the trex?

The answer is no, they had a design flaw they warranties all of them that came in and moved on to a better design.
In my opinion the prochem ti 4 jet original wand is the best overall wand ever made, bothe cleaning and longevity wise. The wand will easily outlast your career and then some.

How much should a forever wand cost?

Michael;

We didn't have any cracked tubes on the Trex's.

And Mytee does change out defective products better than any manufacturer I've seen.

Don't forget the 14" Bentley outcleaned the 13.5" Ti . . .

when we made one pass with each when you and Mikey invaded our plant in Dallas.

How much do those retail for Richard?
We bought two with the 805, I bought one for each truck after that.

I think at the time they were purchased for $1,200.00 (10-12 years ago.

I liked the coverage and the light weight but somewhere over time they fell out of love with them.
So I sold them off for something we needed more.

I bought a "used" new Ti wand from a competitor that was running 5-6 trucks. He only had one, and the crews would fight over it each day. He settled it by selling it to me for $500. I don't use it daily, I use the Quad. All have GG's on them.

None of the suppliers here carry them so I own a quad because that's what he had. He also carries a bunch of off brands. I did get a wand with my machine that was about 15" I beleive. It was to hard to move back and forth so I gave it back to my supplier. Never heard of glides back then.

I was offered a EVO 16 a guy bought one and he didn't care for it, at the time I was posting about a PC Ti and the Evo they were both about the same amount of money and he wanted a Dev filter so we made a swap.
I will say if I would have spent the 1300-1400 dollars it would have been on the PC Ti not the EVO.
