Not too crazy....except the comment....

Hope you have a better vacuum than us....

Vacuums work best when you plug them in..... :dejection:

About 1/2 inch of sand and dirt....

The 1st photo is just from pre vacuuming?

Yep....

Went over 5 times....2 different types of vacuums and went SLOW.....

Updated: Think I misunderstood this a bit too....that center was the clean area from having a office chair plastic runner protector on it....so the dirt was still that deep after a prevac around it

Filled half of a tall kitchen bag with sand...

Should have taken a final picture when done....but spaced it out....was just ready to call it a day...

There was still a bit of a wear pattern, but hugely improved....

Do you like the Rotovac sheer-dry tool?

I love the feel of the tool a lot.....

and it does clean well in a lot of situations I have been trying it on....

I just don't have the feel or have found the sweet spot with the pressure I think yet...

I have 3 upholstery tools right now, Prochem with a glide, Sapphire Scientific with a clear head, and the Rotovac Shear Dry (well and an old Drimaster version 1 like Mikey showed he had found in his shed a couple weeks ago).

I think it was Lisa from Greeglides who once said that the smaller the tool (such as this case) the more opinions and preferences that are going to come out.

If I could get all 3 characteristics of each of the tools in one, would be great....but again, that is my own personal preference.

So far I like the tool, but I want to do some more work with it to try and be able explain the tool better....
