Edit Line Items Across Recurring Job Sequences

On recurring jobs, you can now update labor and material charges across all jobs in the sequence. To access this option, simply open a job within the recurring job sequence and click on the 'edit' option on the line item section below the map. This will open up a new window which gives you the option to update line items and charges and to apply changes to only that particular job occurrence or the entire job series.

This feature is great for saving time when you know there will be permanent changes to all jobs in a series. Conversely, you can apply unique job edits to individual jobs without worrying about those specific changes being applied to other jobs in the recurring sequence.

Edit Job Notes Across Recurring Job Sequences

Similar to editing job line items in a sequence, you can now edit job notes across all jobs in the series. To access this option, open up a job screen that belongs to a recurring sequence and click on the 'notes' edit option. A pop-up window will appear, giving you the option to update notes for that particular job instance or across the entire job series.

This feature is great when something permanently changes in the job series and you need changes to reflect on every job. An example of this is when a residence gate code is permanently changed in the middle of a job sequence.

Job Exports

You can now export all of your job history to a Microsoft Excel file. To access this feature, navigate to the 'Jobs' list view on your web portal home screen. You will see an 'export' link above the 'Total Jobs' count line on the right side of the screen. Click on the 'export' link and you will get the option to send a full job export in Excel format to the specified email address. Your export will arrive in your inbox shortly.

This feature is great if you want to conduct deeper data analysis on things like job revenue, discounts, technician contribution breakdowns, and much more. You will need access to Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet program to open the job exports file.
