As you may be aware, each year ICS Cleaning Specialist Magazine sponsored the Ralph Bloss Humanitarian Award. The Ralph Bloss Humanitarian Award honors members of the floor care industry whose compassion, self-sacrifice, leadership, and creativity produce significant and outstanding benefits for mankind. The award may be presented to any member of the floor care industry, well known or “un-sung” hero, that is nominated by another member of the floor care industry. The award ...is a celebration of the life of Ralph S. Bloss, an individual who reached, touched, counseled, and inspired thousands of people in the floor care industry. BNP Media, the publisher of ICS Cleaning Specialist Magazine has graciously allowed this award to transfer to a new sponsor. While this sponsor is being found, The Experience Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas has expressed the desire to continue this award at their event this year. In lieu of this, nominations for the 13th annual 2015 Ralph Bloss Humanitarian Award are being accepted from August 3rd, 2015 through August 23rd, 2015. As always, the winner will be selected by a panel that is mainly comprised of the past recipients.

Please follow this link:

to the nomination form you can fill out to nominate a worthy recipient. As a reminder this award is for humanitarian efforts within the nominee’s community and with other cleaning and restoration professionals, not an “industry achievement” award. The selection committee looks forward to receiving your nominations.

If not Ken, based on whether or not its available posthumously, then Dave Gill

That man has done more than most here know, unless they were at the Experience in April.

I'm also good with Bill Yeadon. He's another humble man who recognizes everyone else, but rarely, if ever, talks about his own contributions.

This was posted elsewhere, and I suggested Dave Gill based on his speech in Clearwater.

Bill Yeadon
Head and shoulders above all those previous goobers

Bill Yeadon Head and Shoulders above ANYONE is an oxymoron if I ever heard one.

But a very great candidate as well.

knowing Ralph was like winning an award. If 100 senators and 400+ house members were like or had met Ralph, this country would be a better place!!!!
