Got the call today..

When we run the AT on level two the belts are slipping..

Ugh.

I immediately vision myself taking the ride to Scruz to swap out belts and or giving the 2 hour step by step over the phone dissertation on how to loosen the cat pump, how the tension gizmo works, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN being muttered over and over..

I ask Jr to crawl under the truck to see if we've been as neglectful as Saiger has to his belts..

"They look fine, what else can I do?"

Hmmm..

Take the vacuum relief valve apart, clean and lube it and call me back.

20 minutes later I get the "all good" text...

Phew!

What a relief!

Reminded me to order spares for the V though..

Spray with some belt dressing until you can have them tightened up. You don't want to have your pulleys to get glazed from slipping.
