I think if you were to preface each sentence with the word "some", you would have a more accurate set of statements.

I think it was possible the author of that quote was referrring to specific circumstances that may have existed for him/her at the time.

Emotional damage?

A strong person may make certain the other person can't hurt them again before forgiving, and the intelligent person avoids being put in that position again and then can ignore.

Fred, I was just making conversation. Mikey told me I should post around a bit. I have enjoyed my little stint here since fall. I usually hang and post over in the rug category.
