I've dealt with freezing issues, mostly from because of power outages in the middle of the night or while out of town.

I had a CAT290 bust right in half, the manifold on my wand split, and a coil on my Little Giant has a split in it as well.
I despise winter. I get grouchy when it snows.

I'm down but not out. I booked four jobs today for next week. Now that I'm able to talk on the phone without coughing up a lung. My property management companies keep emailing me work orders, so if I can get my ass back out in the field, I might survive this little bump in the road. Hopefully tomorrow.

Hey Damon for starters your lucky you picked up your machine when you did. I-5 is shut down. Now for me yes I froze my amtex the day before I was getting my new 575. I did a job Sunday afternoon and then came home. I forgot to plug in my heater, which I usually check twice every night. That night was the coldest of the year so far, 4 degrees. In the morning I was all excited to go over the hill to get my new 575. We'll I opened the trailer door and smoke came out my mouth. Oh god it's froze. Then I made the mistake of trying to start it.I was trying to get it warm. So I just got in my truck and went over the hill to Medford. I cried on the way there. Oops that's personal. The damage was basically the pump and a pressure hose. Also mike replaced all the pressure connections cause they were all done wrong. Costs $800 to buy new pump and fix hoses and get it ready to ship. I'm building a garage this year hopefully to never let this happen again.
Rick, You should see I-5 in Redding right now. I just went out to deliver a carpet stretcher to my buddy and the freeway was like a wasteland for semi trucks. They are piled up everywhere in this town. I guess there are problems getting over the pass.

Hey, I have a question for you. Any chance you can order some Ink Out by Core Products? It's the best stuff I've ever used. I tried the Chemspec stuff but it just doesn't hold a candle to the ink out stuff but I can't get it in California. The stupid thing is it's a totally green product. They just refuse to pay the California extortion fees.

We got 18" of snow last night. It took me 4 hours to shovel my driveway this morning. People stuck everywhere. Tonight is supposed to be 1 below zero. I put an extra heater on my machine. I have 8 jobs this week supposedly lol. I'll try to get around town with a trailer.

Shhhh! Don't mention the word "trailer" too much. Marty gets annoying and will harass you for not using a van

I think he has a thing with trailers...like a bad memory with uncle's trailer in his early years. Probably just some bad memories with his 2nd cousin "getting it on!" With him back in 7th grade

Yes, and I'm in nor cal. The cat pump wouldn't turn. I had to pull the check valves out and get the ice out of the head. Water box was frozen. Got away with no damage luckily.

We deal with a lot of freezes. Worst one was a customer on the Canadian border. They went into the hotel room for an hour nap..yeah sure. Took the van to Jon Don in Chicago told them 8-9 grand and 12-14 days. They drove all night to us, put them in the hotel room and the left a day later and 6500 lighter in the pocket. Good thing we had a brand new 650 on the floor to cannibalize . Lost the heli coil the pump all the pressure lines gauge the brass and 1 SS HX

Never had the pleasure of freezing one here..... Idk how a lot of you guys clean in cold weather.... I'd defiantly freeze units if I had to work in your climate..... Between how slow I move and having to winterize equipment, I'd be fooked!!!
