9,615 likes. 7,000 was so 3 months ago.

But in all seriousness, likes don't mean anything. Looks cool, but doesn't help much with anything. MY suggestion is: DON'T offer 10% off for liking your Facebook page. Your losing money for something that doesn't matter.

Likes come when you start advertising a post. People will usually like your page when they see the ad. This is probably to be able to find you in the future under their "Liked Pages" option on Facebook.

I can't stress enough:
focus on how many people are clicking the link to your webpage that SHOULD be in your ad. When I run an ad, if after $40 spent and I have less than 5 link clicks to my website, I stop running it. Maybe the picture isn't attracting people, maybe the way I worded the ad isn't attracting people to click. So I'll usually stop that ad all together, do a new post with a new picture and run it to see if I get better results.

Don't run post ads with multiple pictures!! If you look at my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/naturaldry I started running that Rug Cleaning Ad. I have 7 pictures in that post. The results were shit. I thought it would be good because they look pretty cool and would draw attention. Yet I had only 2 link clicks out of $100. Waste of money. Use only ONE Before & After Pic in your post ad. It draws more attention. Make sure the before/after looks good. We've been lacking on doing Before/Afters so I've re ran some old ones from 2014 that people probably don't remember.

I've cut spending back on Facebook to about $600 to $1000 a month. I was running $2,500/mo. Now there are so many people advertising on it. I've put more money towards Yelp and Instagram. We are kicking ass on Instagram with millennials calling. Just who I want right now because as ya'll baby boomers retire, millennials will be moving from their apartments into houses and starting families. Having pets, etc. Longer customer retention. Some people may disagree with my thinking on this, as they have less money right now, but...

If you are going to give discounts for anything on Facebook, do it for reviews!! People trust reviews on Facebook. When your customer posts a review, not only is it good for your page, but their friends see it on their news feed. Free advertising. We give $20 off services for your next cleaning if you do a review for us. I've managed 170 - 5 Star Reviews on Facebook and only 22 on Yelp. The more you advertise on Facebook, more customers will tell you at the job, I seen all of your pictures on Facebook and read the reviews and they were great. People have an easier time pulling up FB and writing a review then on Yelp in my experience. Customers are always scrolling through their Facebook while sitting on the couch or kitchen table when we are cleaning. Easy to get reviews.

One thing else to add to this.. On top of watching for the amount of people clicking on the link in your ad is to see how many people are sharing it. Shares are also free advertising for you. The pic below had a ton of shares (168) and likes (1,100). It went mini-viral for us. All those shares and likes show to those people's friends news feeds for free!

Added about 60 plus likes this week alone.

I remember @WillS saying when he had 7500 likes or followers. If it was slow he could put a promotion and generate calls at Wills! :icon_cool:

Dude. I just looked at your Facebook and you NEED to put a link and phone number in your ads. It is a MUST.

Cause you have people responding to your post with pictures and questions, but NO link. I'm telling you, so much more business will come in with links and numbers in ads.

Everyone has their own style. But one suggestion.. Change your Business Pages Profile Pic. You are getting really good responses to that post. Time to start cleaning up your page so people focus more on your before/afters and reviews.

Absolutely link and number. I said that in an earlier post. Thanks for everything.
