It was eye opening one time I sold a truck mount to a guy who was just getting in the business. I did a demo at one of his customers, an insurance shop. He had some experience, mostly with portables. I fired up the tm and showed him some basic wand strokes then let him take over. There was a night and day difference in the areas I cleaned and what he cleaned. Exactly the same tm, wand and chemicals. The only difference was the way it was applied. After many years in the business, you get a feel for how much cleaning solution you are using, how fast you can move the wand, where to speed up or slow down. Experience is always the best teacher if you are willing to learn.
So , you are saying his areas came out better???:icon_razz::icon_razz: LOL!

Tried the mobile thing. Didn't like it.
Besides, I can't. Just put in an orchard. 8' fences, gates, 29 fruit tress. Back breaking work. Love it.
It's my equivalent to your motorcycle hobby.

Tots can't leave. They've been shackled. We are now working on brain washing. We tell them every day how happy they are :winky:

Opening a roadside fruit stand?

Good lord that's a lot for a family of five.

We had a late production Nectarine this year.. fruit sugar got really concetrated.. Delish

I just love gardening. And since it has taken us so long to find our "dream place" and build & since I ain't getting no younger, l just didn't have the patience to wait and do it more slowly as most do. Probably more than I can chew.

Need some impulse control I guess. No fruit stand in my plan.......but who knows. Once you eat a home grown fruit or vegetables its hard to go back to store bought. Even the expensive organic stuff can't compete.

Once they start producing (3-4 years) you'll have to stop by on one of your motorcycle trips, and get some free good fruit.
With your lady killer charm, maybe you can help me open that road stand.

"Same machine....same this and that"....................

If you gave the exact SAME vacuum cleaner to three different individuals, I'd wager that they would use that vacuum cleaner three different ways. Technique, Logic, etc

Thought I'd get this thread back on track.

The most important item going to do a carpet cleaning job is the operator themselves, not the machine.

An anal carpet cleaner will compensate for any deficiencies in his/her equipment to do an outstanding job, even if they only have a portable.

Of course, a truckmount will allow the technician to be more efficient and get the job done sooner.

Hi, my name is Bob, and I am an anal carpet cleaner!

I'm more anal when I watch, then if I'm cleaning.

You ever walk in a room your guys almost done and you start pointing everything out he did wrong?

Hey is that a popcorn kernel? Why is there hair on that baseboard?

Or in Mikes Aunts house a penny?

She didn't pay him, he's like just leave a penny? Hahaha.

I really don't want to work for free!

I do feel some customers strategically place pennies in corners to see if we get those areas or not.

Carpets... nah

Fruit is where it's at. Next to the garage where you'll find the lemon tree nearly breaking branches with all the big lemons. and the orange trees around...and the avocado trees....

Beside Bob who has his priorities right.....why does it take old scrawny foreigners with accents to kick some sense into some, here.
Unless you're Canadian. They got it right.

P.S. Mike. In a few years when you come help pick the fruit, please do not show up unless you're wearing your depends. We're much stricter now in CA. I'm gonna have Jimmy check on you :winky:

I disagree. All of our equipment has limitations as do we. But I can most definitely clean better now with my WM than I did with my bane. Actually the crb made me a better cleaner to.

The right tool for the right job is huge. Then the right guy running it.
