Will this work as a suitable replacement for my expensive knuckle valve on a 5.9 blower?

Do I just cut a hole in the waste tank lid? Do I need anything else to install it?

I didn't get the virus that has been going around, but a large percentage of our employees did.

I don't think it will work. Not strong enough for a 5.9 blower. I used on on my 47 blower and Larry had to send a different nut to increase the strength of the spring.

Larry was busy before and has now contacted me--
he said the 2 inch would work with reducing bushings.-- the one in the link is a 1.5 inch-- I hope he is correct

I think my vortex only has a 2 inch-- so it should work.. no expensive knuckle valve on the V blower.

That's what I thought. He sent me the same extended nut to fix the problem. Still that's a lot of suction for that piece he sells. I might still have a knuckle valve you can have dirt cheap. If I find it I'll pm you.
