Unless he has a real passion for it and be able to see the vision he will just treat it like a job.

Not so sure about the "ready" part, but they like to help.

Having worked for my grandfather(painter) and dad(paving), it would be a dream to someday work with one of them, even if only for a day! Hopefully, I can make it that long...

Jerry, pay them, and coach them to tithe, save and only spend a percentage. Especially let them buy themselves clothes, even a milkshake or a visit to the local arcade. With experience they'll make better and better choices.

One day you can move in with whichever has the biggest island.

Thats what my father did to us. He gave us nothing but opportunity. If we wanted something had to work for it. My bike, mini bike, go cart, motorcycle, car and clothes were all paid with money I earned working after school and weekends.

ad the wife bring them over to see what I actually do. I told my oldest he would help and I would pay him. I made him up a little letter put it in an envelope, like a pay check. Gave him five bucks.

His mom took him to the store( 5 below)............ He bought a plastic bow and arrow! Looooooooool, It's was in the trash a week later for shooting his brother!

Just saw this, you really gotta tag me if you want a response

I only read the Clean Room and the secret Marty is a phucktard room

Like many of you guys , my son Matt has been working with me for over 4 years full time during summers and part time in school

He graduated and is now full time

I've been in limbo over the last 5 years essentially shedding JanSan gigs , putting the phone on answering machine while vacationing and not advertising or even mailing to my base.

I wouldn't recommend this plan of action unless you want to go out of business

He's a hard worker, but he's 18... needs a few years under his belt before I see what direction this should go

If he wants to scale up, he has to accept the responsibility. 30 years in and I'm not inspired anymore]

I can see how fossils like Sutley take naps everyday
