Glides have slots on the end of them to help with not locking down.. I rarely use a wand anyhow.. Rv360i or Zipper baby...

Need faster dry times, do more dry strokes, use less water, fans are a must, wet only on the back stroke, etc... Now if your trying to do WDR weight or pressing down is your friend...

It's not accurate because even when locked down there is still airflow through the carpet and coupled with lift which he ignores in the video you get dryer carpet.

I think in his previous job he was a retard grocery bagger.

He even did the start up and shut down of his machine wrong.
Someone should tell him to never start his machine with a load on it and to never shut it down with a load.

But the real question is WHY did he make the video in the first place?

Is he trying to be another Saiger doing idiot videos to show retard carpet cleaners?

He is right as long as you have enough vacuum power to let the wand do the work. If you are using a low powered portable, you may need to use a little downward pressure to increase suction. How much depends on how thick and textured the carpet is.

It is a good demonstration of physics to get the concept right...this example applies to cars for good intake and exhaust.. Or simple as swamp cooler where the directional flow of air need proper exhaust for cool air to circulate..lift is important as you need maximally utilize the surface area of the materials you need extracted...

...and less wear and tear on your body. What do you think?

I like the quarter example. It shows that on certain types of carpet where the wand automatically locks down on the carpet (like low pile commercial) you need to lift the wand after the pull back. But what do I know? I'm just a trailer trash rug sucker that you guys like to harass

Nah, that makes it good for only one type of carpet. Plus, it makes your arms look like the bus driver's arms once you get too comfortable.

I actually know Kyle personally. He has been in the cleaning and Restoration industry for many years both as a technition and now a sales rep at my local interlink supply, barker hammer.
Other than starting the machine under full load, obviously for demonstration purposes, nothing he said was wrong.
As for being like Saiger, what is wrong with trying to increase your national exposure, perhaps one day he wants to work with the big boys and this is a great way to get his name out. Some people have higher ambition than being the owner of a rusted bucket operation.

Your demonstration was not equal you did not put your suction hose all the way down to the bottom of the fish tank. If you had the tank filled with coins like you did with the water and started on top it would have sucked them up too.
