speaking of stuff accidentally getting sucked up the vac hose

what's some of the more interesting (or costly) stuff you've sucked up?




it's amazing how fast toilet paper can be stripped off the roll

striped leaves off the branch of an ornamental tree at the stairs once
(I pruned the naked branch and Mrs Phiff was none the wiser)

and I'm sure most of us pulled a spotting towel out of the filter a time or 10 over the years

anyone done any serious damage or harm to living things?

worst that happened to me in the harm/damage part, was banging out student rentals in loose fitting/light wt shorts (commando of course) I'm changing to stair tool when vac hose clamped down on my left one

Guys are in the next unit...no one around to shut down or pull hose off TM
I bit the bullet and pulled it off my achy ballzac...

some thirty years ago, I worked for a company in Calgary using scrubbers and wet vacs. There was one crew of 2 guys who were accidently/on purpose sucking up diamond rings, watches and other assorted bits and pieces. When they finally got caught, there wet vac was just loaded with stuff.

I had a guy in one of my classes who admitted he had that happen to him. Could have been the same guy, but the practice of using the hose as a "phone" is wide spread enough for me to believe its happened more than once.

Same as mikey, toddlker up to shoulder. Kid was cryin when i came in from turning on machine, just in time to hear his father say "we are gonna have to cut your arm off now" i turned machine off, got his arm out. Found both that kids socks in the filer too.
