What percentage of your jobs need dry edging

If your upright vacuum is any good it will suck up a moderate amount of soil without an edging tool along the edge... so what remaining jobs need to be detailed with an attachment or accessory vacuum for me I would say it's about 20%

Very few 10%, only those that don't vacuum regularly. 30% of the commercial especially those with cubes

If it's really dirty (think move out's without lots of upkeep), I use a flaired deck brush. I can hit the walls and baseboards, then vac up the whole mess.

100%. Baseboards. Then the edges and corners. Then the main floor.

Try scanning with your Cobbs Ultraviolet Tanning Ray Gun and you'll quickly see what a crap job the upright does over the tack board, door frames and corners.

Percent that needs edging in SW Florida 30 to 40 percent. Lots of tree pollen and sand.
My vacuum does a great job of vibrating most of the edge up into the vacuum but for residential, I still bring my Hoover Porta Power in and do the edges 100 percent of the time. Doesn't take very long and it sets me apart.

We very seldom not edge. Just finished a condo that has been neglected on the carpet and overall common area maintenance cleaning. We pulled the crevice tool across the top of the basetrim also, made the end result pop that much more.

0% Because my mach15 wand is just one big opening on the glide to do the edging while I'm cleaning the carpet. Unlike the holy and slotted glides that can't do as good of an edging.

My customers still have orgasms over my work, so I don't see a need to do any edging with my proteam vacuum, which has good suction for an electric motor

We have easily removable glides on our wands that allow us to vacuum and or steam clean edges. Still, I'm ordering that Hoover PortaPower just because.
