They were a big player out of Chicago/ Joliet. Too many models big and small, including diesels. 2008 economic crash and a few bad decisions put them into bankruptcy in 2010.

Jim Nape was one of the principals.

2008-10 killed a lot of people, including myself.

I do like his designs. Looks like he made some time saving and functional improvements. That being said, I'm now very weary of garage builds after what I went through.
Is this considered a garage build?

The guy with the big head
Well that narrows it down.

On a different note. I just got home from cleaning a two story place. I tried to take the weekend off, but the PM begged me to do it because they messed up and have a tenant moving in on Tuesday. I'm finding that if I want time off, I actually need to schedule it. My goal is to take my Bike on a ride next weekend. I may show up on Miley's front porch.

This brings up something that has been on my mind for awhile. Have you ever noticed how big Little Richard's head is compared to his body. Just obscenely big.

Hopefully they got rid of a very complicated mix tank system which had finicky float switches, relays, and solenoid valves. They also had a very chocked down blower system that gave lots of hot water but was very hard on belts. They have always been very nice looking units with good fit and finish.

What's the story on the heat, and price? Looks like a great unit... but looks can be deceiving. How dependable is that air cooled motor?
