New Cal Tools swivel wand will only rotate a 1/4 inch now.
Bearings seized up. Head has lots of play.

The inner sleeve of the swivel is welded to the head so no practical fix.

and of course, typical of knock off companies, he wont respond because my review was not positive. Rather, I was acuused of putting sand in the races....

Looks like the boys will be getting my Devastator..

if i were building that wand...
i would use cylindrical roller bearings
instead of ball bearings....

it would distribute the load
over a wider area.....

ya i'd press steel races in as well...

jus sayin!

Nylon sleeves that are adjustable for tension.

Too much heat moisture and chems around for bearings.

you can't have 2 different metals working against each other and think for a second that you are not going to have any problems.....he is putting a hardened steel ball bearing against a much softer material.. ...and using the tube and the swivel for a race...so the ball bearing is going to start to pit the softer metal and then it is going to bind up...if you look at your typical bearings..they are in case in an outer and inner race made of the same type material so they do not work against each other....people have been warned..so they get what they get..Rob did his normal 20-minute field test evaluation and is once again going to sell them..I give it less than 3 to 6 months and the complaints are going to start pouring in again just like all the other times.....take it for what it is.......

#1 had no bearings in the races, eventually the aluminum failed and the head separated (fell off)
#2 is still alive but crusty and jiggly, anodizing is crap as is the powdercoat. Valves and handles wont stay put. Bearing design

#3 locked up in two weeks.

Tony should stick to AW29 knock offs.
