Here is an old photo I came across of me and my first truck mount circa 1993. You can't see much but the vehicle is 1984 Mazda b2200 long box with a diesel engine. The cleaning unit was a J.E.M. built by local legend Jim Miller. Power take off from the diesel engine and a little giant 4ht propane heater. Cat pump and sutorbilt #4 blower. It was powerful and hot. Just not a lot of room for anything else. Perfect unit for the city.

Very oddball truck but I ran it over 400,000 k and stripped the unit out and had people lining up to buy the diesel engine. Well over 30 mpg.

They actually do in different countries but it's all about big business.. Diesel is cleaner burning, better mileage and last longer but the EPA and oil companies are in tight together..

I was in the Bahamas a few years ago and couldn't believe all the beautiful Mitsubishi, Toyata, Nissan, Volkswagen Vans they had for both passengers and cargo. One ton vans that can fit in your garage or high roof options, all with economical diesel engines. Our government wants us to be environmental friendly buy refuses to give us the tools we need. Can you say "chicken tax" look it up.

If you have too efficient fuel mileage vehicles, who doesn't benefit? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out..

My good friend who's an "old time racer" said he had an article from popular mechanics back in the 1980's.. They took a Vw rabbit with a gas engine and made it get 200miles to the gallon.. They took out 2 spark plugs and used the cylinders to act like a super charger forcing air into 2 cylinders with the plugs..

Problem is the dude is a pack rat.. I asked to see the article but he didn't know where it was.. I do believe him because he had no reason to lie about it.. Then he went on about the conspiracies regarding hydrogen powered vehicles and people dying because they wouldn't sell the rights to the oil companies..
