Dang, my GMC 3500 engine died, but the Butler unit runs beautifully. All parts for sale.

I've got the feeling Butler is not going to offer me much for this so I'm going to part out this 2008 Hi Heat Butler.

What do you need? Make an offer. I have a complete Butler for sale including the 210 gallon waste tank, freshie, blower with tensioner, etc, etc.

Put a new crate engine in it.
Tried to get a quote from one of the only shops that does this work and they can't do it. Kind of at a loss on that route. Plus the Butler is 2008 and the van is 2004 so a new engine in this old van doesn't make a lot of sense. New engines cost a lot.

New Butler ordered will probably be here in a week or so.

Michigan vehicles are pretty rusted in ten years.

However probably not as bad as when I lived there, since the State is too broke to keep buying mountains of salt.

I feel your pain, just had to drop a new (rebuilt, 97k miles) engine in our 2008 Chevy 3500 express van (170k miles) with 2008 CDS. About $5k, but it gets us into to next year where we budgeted for a new truckmount and allows this truck to be sold off when that time comes. Truckmount will probably out live the engine that was just put in.

Uh, when have I not followed through on buying something, pops? I think your oxygen hose is kinked again..

You state side guys just don't understand the cost of shipping something here.. We need to get it to the west-coast, then get out the KY and lube it up...

I dropped a Jasper engine into my 2005 Butler last year for $6 grand

I'd strongly recommend investing in an engine... you can keep her running for another few years or sell it for better than salvage

Butler ain't giving you more than a couple grand for the stuff

Their reconditioned units are incredible , most of your unit would be considered scrap to them
