today we cleaned about 8000 sq ft in 4 hours including set up and breakdown.

I used the Zipper Super spinner connected to the vortex. My tech used the 360i Bh connected to a bluewave.

I cleaned about 70% of the total area.

The super spinner is faster but my tech thinks the 360iBh cleaned better-- I sorta agree.
I was impressed with how well the super spinner worked on uneven subfloor areas.

The Super Spinner will be my go to tool on commercial jobs. looking forward to using it again at a day care in 4 days.

Erik deserves a trophy for his inventions.

The one concerning part about the Super Spinner-- or maybe my setup was that the velocity/suction sound was reduced when 200 feet of vac hose was connected to it.!? The next time I might use both vac ports from the vortex and run 2 hoses for 1st 50-100 ft.

The spinner is nice, but because of the two vacuum slots you virtually have two 15 inch wands hooked up to a 2 inch hose. Need maximum cfm and lift as close to the spinner as possible.

Yeah but saiger runs 2.5 hose. I just feel 2 inch VAC hose is not enough for that huge spinner head.. I'll get to experiment again in 2 days. Maybe i needed to run it at higher RPM?
On my 4.7 CDS at 1000 psi I had to make sure to do a dry stroke. It was fully operational at 800 psi, the higher psi just gets the worse areas in one cleaning pass

Sorry for changing the subject, but adding two hoses isn't gonna do anything but slow your suction more. I found this out when I detached my hoses at the end of the job. One was bone dry and the other had water in it, which told me that the water and liquid separated. when you lose moving air in the hose, the water slows down and hose builds up more water in it, causing loss of suction. The dumbass 4td didn't do anything, nor did it help my dry times.

If you want more suction, get 50-100ft of 2.5" hose. Keep the air moving in the same hose as the water

We clean with it at 650 but everyone says it won't spin at that low psi, but it does. :shifty:
When nasty we crank it up to 800 psi. Love that tool!

They dual Zippered with the Everest 650 last week on a commercial job. No vacuum issues?

John are the filters clean on the unit? Lint & blower?

they looked fine. I think I just needed to run the Vortex at higher RPMs. It could also just be my perception. tomorrow is the next day I will use the Zipper SS.

When we used the Johnson's Aerotech in Scottsdale it seemed to have plenty of power running two hose setups until we got too soapy with the t&g precon.

I have used 3 hose setup on the vortex with about 700 ft hose total in the past---so 200ft should be no problem.. I really think it was operator error.

I discovered what was wrong with my setup the 1st time I used the Zipper SS--- The vac hose that seemed to reduce the suction when added, Had a gash in it. :hopeless:

I got to use the Zipper super spinner again today-- and this tool is amazing!!! the carpets cleaned up fast and dried fast too---

The Zipper SS gives me Encap production levels without the shame and guilt.... I'm looking forward to doing more commercial jobs where we can use it..
