I remember when I was buying a MR2, they were giving away a recliner and TV with any Toyota purchase. When it came to writing it the salesman asked if I needed a tv and recliner. I was like sure! He said do you need it? It was all marketing, if you didn't want it they took $700.00 off the price.

I'd guess it's worth giving a portable if it takes you off the fence. Besides all portables should be FREE. :winky:

I remember when I was buying a MR2,

Now that is something I'd like to see! Richard in an MR2!

Or getting into/out of an mr2! Was it red? Automatic?

The early ones were great cars, blast to drive and toyota, you could beat the poop out of it. The honda crx si(?) was a lot like it.

Sorry... Back to topic!

If I'm buying a tm, my true hope is to never use a porty again!

lol I was 27.

I'd run all the 5k's and 10k's in town for fun. I ran 6 miles a day, 6 days a week back then. I weighed 175lbs...I WAZ Mighty back then. :winky:

I ordered blue, stick and they gave me a red one to drive until mine was to arrive. After a week they wanted the car back. After 2 weeks I got my deposit back. I went to KC and bought a new model 1986 Mazda RX7

Fun car had it until the first kid. Two seater with a very small rear seat.
