Hello again, having another issue with my butler...the psi raises up to 500 right when I engage the pump (normally should only do that when wand is keyed) and when I press the trigger the psi drops down about 75-100 Psi. Note: the pressure regulator is 10 years old. I ordered one from Butler and it should be here tomorrow. Has anybody had this issue before? Was it the pressure regulator? :headscratch:

Start with the pressure regulator for sure.

Getting 10 years out of a pressure regulator is pretty amazing actually...

Hope this fixes it

There is a little piston inside the regulator. Usually the o rings go. Replace the o rings, grease it up and usually you're good to go.

Time for a new van...

I got a new butler about 6 years ago and it make my days so much better not having to worry what was going to break next. Took a lot of stress off me too.

I'm real happy with the 2010 I got. Just got to get it back from my wife!
