We had a call yesterday where water seeped from the tile hallway on to a gym floor. Fortunately it was found before it got too far.

The snouts for the 2800i and 7000i make tenting very easy. We used injectidry's in the areas showing more moisture.

Were you able to check for insulation under the floor?

If you used non porous tape and the small ports on the panels you could get more than four panels per power head.

No water separator?

Love those nipple caps!

They did a funky install here. No screeds in this case, they put the hardwood right on top of plywood. We removed the base shoe and sure enough there were no screeds. No air gap so all the drying took place from above.

Do you use a separator? We made a couple after attending a class where Ernie showed us how before they built and sold them. We would if it were that wet, you can also put suction on the panels from a portable or tm if there were that kind of water. By the time they called us in their wasn’t that kind of water to deal with.

I’m not sure why they used so few panels per unit? We have more panel sets and more injectidry’s so I’d have to ask them why.

It’s done really well so far, they have reduced the area down from the images and hopefully we pick it up today or cut it down to very little.

Nipple caps...lol gotta improvise! :winky:

I didn’t use a water separator for many years without a problem. I was talking to Stephany at injectidry one day and she told me water in the power head was the number one cause of power head failure. So I bought a couple of them.

I also loop the yellow hose back to the power head for maxim even pressure on each panel, the water separator makes that easy.

We had an arson fire at the Pratt Boys and Girls Club (Built by actor Chris Pratt in honor of his father) in Lake Stevens.

The sprinklers damaged the gym floor, which was declared a total loss. The irony is that the Injectidry/Bales Restoration HQ is only 20 miles away. Hope Ernie was watching the news.

Wow that's awful. Did they catch the person that did it.

If anyone could have dried it Bales could have. Not only do they have injectidry's at their disposal but the own several desiccant/heat/a.c. trailers.
