Will a CRB and a spinner clean as well as a Rotovac 360i?

If the rotovac is hurting your wrists then you are using if wrong. I made the same mistake also. The bar should be at hip level and you should be able to control it with little effort.. try different speeds, the setting is different for different types. When I first started using it I was fighting it and sweating a lot, then I found the "balance point"

. It’s not my wrists, it’s my right elbow, the angle of the handles irritates it for some reason, only happens when I use those type of handles, have the same problem when I use a wand with the gun type handle instead of a traditional wand, never happens with my 175 or spinner tile tool with the regular handle angle.

The spinner use a lot more water 800-1000 psi.

With diesel heat I hope you don’t make crop circles in some nylons!

I have a 15 inch and it’s a beast on open areas not a fan of it in homes.

Like Richard said try one, before you buy one!
Some of the videos I watched said they were only using 500 psi, I’ll see if I can find somewhere around with one to test locally. I wish I would have been able to try the Rotovac before I bought it vs a Trex, but no one around here kept either in stock, I think I might have liked the Trex better cause it’s closer to my 175 handles wise, also don’t like the adjustment for dropping the handle on the Rotovac.

I have no problem using the 360i in homes. I don't use it on every job but when faced with heavily soiled carpet, I find it very quick. Yes I still have to edge with a wand, actually, I wand lightly over the same area that I have rotovacced. I have a crb and other scrubbers as well as a zipper but the rotovac cleans more thoroughly in my opinion, with the brush head of course. It's a learning curve like any other tool but much faster than a scrubber and wand.
Definitely less work, that’s for sure!

I think it's a matter of finding the sweet spot for yourself, heightwise. I like the width of the handles myself but it doesn't glide with the smoothness of a 175 and never will. Just not heavy enough. The xl is better. I agree with the handle lowering button

Not as much carpet fiber.

There are sometimes a rotary can be the right tool for the job... But there are also times it is not.

As @Mikey P mentioned having both can be a good thing.

How many times one is used can depend on your clientele...

I use the CRB and Zipper or SS Super Spinner (Hyper Spinners) or Conway Devastator Wand more than a rotary... Like a lot...

Now after typing this I will probably have a greater number of cleaning needing rotary... But it doesn't look like that in the schedule.
Which drys faster? It seems like certain carpets dry great with the Rotovac and others not near as well.[/QUOTE]
For us the Zipper dries faster... But also keeping in mind when we bust out the Rotary it is usually really really trashed and we are going to flush it hard... And dry times are least of our concerns

When I'm running solo I find myself using my 360xl with brush head most of the time. But when the helper is on the truck its a CRB wand combo most of the time. If its really trashed its a CRB 360xl combo for the win.

You are a dumbass!

Oh sorry I was distracted. The above statement is just an arbitrary thought, it doesn't pertain to the post. :winky:

I just don't get why you wouldn't. But I suppose if you're the type of cleaner that doesn't move furnishings and just goes around them. Then ok I can see it. We move most contents that can safely be moved.

Have you used it much in houses? I like fast cause I’m almost always working alone.
Use it all the time in vacant homes. I would not recommend it for furnished areas or heavily soiled places. If you need major flushing I would suggest a Zipper or rotary.
