That Kiwi
I realise not everyone has this complaint, and I know of some of my local competitors that have even had to let techs go, but we're exiting our winter... and we're flat out.
We've been consistantly busy throughout the entire winter excluding the odd week here or there. Our numbers are an average of 15% UP over the past year for April-September.
I employed another lady as a temp about 5 months ago and have pretty much given her full time work.
Recently I took on a doyuble afterhours team to handle overflow and afterhours carpet cleaning. We recently signed up as a subbie for a national group at the benginning of September and they have got a number of carpet cleaning contracts that is mainly after hours.
My Dad started a new business almost a year ago but hasn't had a chance to build his own business as the majority of his work is for us.
If this is what winter is like, what's the next 6 months going to bring?
and yes Marty, I appreciate that YDGAS.
