ZeroRez uses a very minute amount of electrolytes to change water into "electrolysed water" . . . These new components of the water have either oxidizing or reducing potentials to either clean or sanitize the carpet . . . USDA authorizes the same process for many large food processing plants across the country . . .
I use ultrachem clean, which supposedly uses electrolytic cleaning. I dunno what that means as it's explained with a bunch of $50 words and a soupcon of wtf?- but it cleans well and pops out harder stains like rust and breaks gum up.
