I've played around with it, but I'm not really an ideal Beta Tester. I won't really try to use it for real until it's 100% complete.

They really jumped the gun with setting release dates and pushing them back, which is unlike them. Ultimately I'm sure it will be worth the wait, as everything they do seems to be.

Few more weeks. Single owner model nearly complete then tech permissions. We extended the features for first release.

And just for the record regarding release dates. The first release was a preview just to start to get and solicit feedback. That was supposed to last from connections until Thanksgiving then we were going to enter a beta. For December hoping to release beginning of January. Obviously were a few weeks behind but nothing crazy. The feedback that we got was tremendous. That led to a handful of features that we decided needed to be included before the first release. Also it was a little buggy in the first part of the beta then I had hoped. So I made sure that that shyt was taken care of. The current build available on Android and iOS is very clean.

Additionally I'm starting to catch flack for transparency. Some of those in the company didn't want to be open about our development early on in fear that users would take that negatively. I'm having to explain myself about preview and beta and so forth.

Kudos to you Joe for making sure all is right with it before releasing it. If people don't want to wait that's their loss. I personally hate it when something is released and glitchy and frustrating. You lose more potential customers that way than waiting a little longer to make it right the first time.

Does SM do Apple? I just bought the i pad pro with the big screen.
The pro is YYYYUUUUUUUUGGGEEE.

I'm sure it will handle SM fine.

I wish there was an app that would make it easy to use on my little bitty smart phone while out on the truck working.

The iPad pro is faster both in speed of the computer itself but also the sheer size of it makes it so much easier to do everything.

Did you get the "pencil"?

I'm in the direction of Apple "fanboy" but I don't like the big tablets so much. I had the iPad Air for a year or so before retreating back to the iPad mini.

Good for you for keeping current with the latest tech. It's an important part of what we do every day.

The Pro is probably the best tablet on the market. Just seems kinda big to be carting around. So thin though.

I do have the Pencil. I got the Pro on a payment plan and I couldn't be happier with it!
Check out Apple Store, they have a Barclay Card, you can get instant approved and go right to store and get what you want.
I pick up my hubby's Air now and it feels like a toy! Lol!
Yes, it is bigger, but I can still carry it in my purse and it's so thin it's lighter than you expect.
Just as easy to carry around as the Air when you are in with the customer.

As for the pencil, it works great and I am finding myself doing more artistic stuff now which is great for stress relief but also I am working on some designs for a new brochure.

It looks like the Pro is probably too new. They aren't offering it as refurbished.

I didn't see the iPad mini 4 either.

It's worth checking out anyway. Apple updates its software with such regularity, I bought the iPad mini 3 last summer. A Lifeproof case for it was reasonable too.

I'm telling you, the Pro is worth it's weight in gold. It pays for itself because it is so easy to use. And it's a 128 gigs too!

Hey, whatever works and whatever you like! If you've got multiple users you sure don't want to be buying them all iPad Pros!
Not everyone wants or needs a big screen like me.

Am I the only one who uses SM on my desktop, prints the WO there and doesnt use SM in the field?

I've said it before, it feels a bit like users like me are not important as all I hear is mobile version talk.

How so Barry? Route packets were created just for non mobile users. So was the order print schema. We have dedicated SM desktop engineers and we are rebuiling ServiceMonster again (SM6) for release prior to the Experience in sept.
