Whole house deep cleaning scheduled for Monday, in anticipation of the new baby.

Guy lives in a modest home, looks like a beatnik.

Customer calls this afternoon, says the baby may come this weekend, could we possibly come in early?
Well, yes, on Saturday. That baby trumps any weekend plans, and of COURSE we'll adapt, right?
Elves all cheerfully vote "yes" and the customer says thankyouthankyouthankyou.

Then he sends me a link to the giant 3500-acre resort his family owns and asks if we could handle post-event cleanups! Also wants to discuss the 11 banks they own and could we do those..

So, all that is speculation right now; The point is that somehow, at the oddest moments, the Lord sends just the right encouragement. We treat our business like a testimony. I was concerned with them having a clean home for the baby's sake.

What a surprise! I hope the same for each of you!

I don't know how many of you read my comment about The Haven in the thread about the February 22nd give back day, but last night we had dinner with my brother in law who is back in town along with some close friends of theirs who are quite wealthy.
Ive met them a few times but don't know them well, and the wife and I got to talking about our business and I was telling her about this forum and how we keep each other accountable and strive to be the best etc... I also mentioned to her about the Haven and what it had done for me and how saddened I was to see it in such disrepair due to them relying solely on donations.
She ended up being not only interested in using us and referring us to many of her friends and neighbors, but more importantly she is going to look into finding ways to help the program!!!
Our lives can be a walking testimony even when we are not expecting it or trying. As I grow in this journey called life, I am learning more and more that every moment has so much value. Every word can have value. Our time is never useless if we make it useful, even something so simple as having dinner with someone.
