The fine folks a Carpet Maintenance Supply hooked me up with a "Hot Water Convenience" hose (left ball valve)

and a other line just for filling my rinse tank.. (right ball)

doubt those shut off valves are going to last that long with all the heat that comes out of those quick connects......we have a hard enough time making those last on our tools..If that is the way you want to go then I would replace them with the red handle ( for hot water ) 1/4 inch ball valves...mine have lasted for years..

on mine I don't want all that extra weight hanging out there waiting for me to break it off...I use one connection to run to a live reel and just put a red handle brass valve with a QC and just use a courtesy hose to fill all my jugs that I can disconnect and not have in my way...

top one set up for courtesy hose...
bottom with shut off valve plumed to live reel.....

Butler has a Hot Water convenience hose and nice shut off on the front of the unit...the hose is pointed through a hole in the bottom of the floor to help prevent water getting in van, or burning you.

We just pull that hose out from it's floor hole, wipe off road grime and fill jugs and hot water as needed.

I also have from my fresh water tank a hose with a valve too for the cold water if wanted....

I have a short hose with ball valve on the other solution quick connect on the machine.

Maybe Scott can provide a video and show how to turn the valve off and on?

My boxxer has a valve on the lower right side with a hose connected to it so I am able to fill my jug or rinse things off.

Courtesy hose here.....my rinse jug is right next to it, so it works pretty slick. Gotta be careful though......damn hot water if the heat was turned up.

My white magic pro 1200 had that too, it was nice. New 1200 has a seperated valve with a hose plumbed direct to the rinse jug, I pull it out to fill sprayers but the hose needs to be a little longer

My 870 doesn't have a courtesy hose. It really should. That short hose with ball valve is what I use now.Very dangerous for new people. Being that the 570 ,pro1200 and the 870 use engine coolant hxs I wish Sapphire would offer a hot water hose plumbed off that.

Valves and hoses on machine side of hot and cold quick connects.

I usually fill rinse jug with cold water because hot water draws from rinse jug.

Hydro-Force just introduced a quality convenience hose outlet two weeks ago. Top quality 1000+ PSI ball valve and Qucik connects. You can buy it assembled View attachment 12017 for less than the cost of the parts to build it.
That looks convenient, Scott. But why not just plumb the tee directly to the machine and eliminate a set of quick connects?

Buy that assembly, remove the female quick connect for use elsewhere, and plumb the tee to the machine.

That hose wasn't very courteous, was it?

I have two hoses hooked up to my water box, one out the side door with a valve, and the other hangs in back(just gravity feed). The water is plenty hot and low pressure so no worries about getting burned..
