That is a pretty good deal possibly for our area, but actually about on price point here for us too.

Would all depend on a number of factors yet, but I suspect similar in pricing for us here

Around here it would probably have a double wide on each side.

Prices here vary greatly especially when you get around certain lakes.
There are shacks that go for over a million just because they are on certain lakes.the lakes where chicago folks or FIPS like to flock to are wayyy over priced.

Similar price here, Mike.

We looked at one a few weeks ago on 8 wooded acres. BEAUTIFUL lot with the big house sitting on a big hill out of the way from the nearby town.

It needs too much work for my taste (and budget).

I like going through houses for work everyday but it makes me want to move all the time!

Im the same way. Almost moved two years ago when my wife was pregnant to a sweet 3000 square foot fixer upper on 10 acres with a 40x60 barn, in the middle of winter. Luckily the deal fell through our if probably be divorced by now, but I still look everyday

It's not a super large home 2k sqft. But, 8 acres and a six car garage would easily make this one(imo) 6-800,000 in my area.

When you have a "House on wheels" you can move anywhere. Then when they ask you to move there is no problem.
My dream is to move down south................live next to Marty.

15,000,000 to 20,000,000 in Vancouver just for the land, buildings would be knocked down, land would be subdivided and a lot of Chinese people will move in. 20 miles out of town, it still would be worth 1.5 to 3 million, depending on the exact location. Real estate is just nuts out here. The average professional working couple cannot buy a house and many struggle just to buy a condo or a townhouse.

That real estate agent looks a bit like Farrah Fawcett, back in the day- in her GOOD days. I'd go check out the property to check out her. (You can tell my wife doesn't read my posts here or I'd be in big trouble!)

A 2 story 2000 sq/ft house is tiny. The property and the 6+ garage makes up for it. In my area of SoCal you are probably not going to find a 8 acre lot. and if you did the lot itself would be a couple million I think - at the least. If you wanted to go out in the sticks, meaning kinda out towards the desert towards Vegas, maybe you could find something like that. Or down in the wine country of Temecula, north of San Diego county. Again 2-3 million I'm guessing.

I meant 2000 in a TWO story is alot of wasted space versus a single story. And I realize those 2000 sq/ft 2 stories are all over the place here but they are on a 4,000 sq/ft lot usually. 2000 sq/ft is tiny for 6 acres or whatever that is.
