We set up my brother Dave Saiger's 210 tank last night with 150 feet including 2.5" greenie hose. The other hose is still old hose we had at this time. We took pics and will hopefully have them here soon via Greenie. We have it set up with 2", then 2.5" and another 2". We are not running live hose reels but the storage is not an issue as we were worried about on the butler reel. Now, if we can figure out how to make the live reel a possiblilty with the 2.5".

The 2.5" really woke up this unit as well. This has the smaller blower but it would still pick the carpet up off the floor after we got the system all balanced to the hose.

Thanks again Greenie!

Eric, you run a Butler.

Look at your waste tank.

There is ONE 2.5" male nipple and ONE 2" male nipple of which Butler has screwed on some plastic elbows.

If you are using a 2.5" single hose at the door of the van, you will not see anything more in the area of vacuum increase by running a 2.5" elbow and a 2" elbow, or (theoretically 2 - 2.5" elbows) for that matter.

The single 2.5" elbow will supply everything the 2.5" hose can use.

And it's simpler plumbing.

You may even jack with the airflow by introducing the second 2" port.
