This group started out with a number of my former students from one of my Jazz ensembles (that was a killer group for me at the time)

    Trampled by Turtles.

The only remaining original member and student of mine is the Bass Style player Tim Saxhaug (first on the Right)

They are based out of Duluth, MN

Just got back from the UK on tour I see.

Different style group keeping everything acoustical.

Little sample of them doing an NPR tiny desk concert they call it

Here they are on David Letterman

Another one live at the First Avenue....

Here is another one of my students.

Was a drummer (same Jazz ensemble as Tim from Trampled by Turtles) and does some drum work for them when they need

Eric Pollard goes by "Actual Wolf"

Doing a fundraiser for the Animal Society in Minneapolis

    Another in the studio

For a former teacher.....Just fun to see them still out making music and having fun while they can :)

Another good friend of ours from Chicago area. Kevin Burt

Blues singer and performer (and great cook!)

Here he pulled out his guitar at a small local café while visiting and did this for everyone

Song he wrote for his little girl (daughter)

He was on a star search audition but didn't go far because he sings with his eyes closed.....

One of his originals...too bad such poor sound and video.

I bit the bullet and watched the whole movie - not bad at all. About 90 minutes.

    Great concert!

Didn't see it live but friend of mine has it on dvd and we watched the entire thing about this time of year on big screen after cleaning all the carpets in his house. Was in Grand Forks ND. went out for good food and drinks and good hockey game after the day of cleaning. Came back to their place, had more drinks and watched entire concert!

Great sound system too as he is major player at the sound division of the music store there.
