Yep, welcome big time.

I have no problem with guys who bought into Chem Dry not knowing what CCing is really all about.

I only have a beef with the guys who slander HWE and then do it themselves under another name.

Obviously by the fact that you lurk here you are learning something so I can only hope you choose to participate more.

I had a lady call asking if I did CO2 cleaning. I told her if she really wanted I would do a pad cleaning. She insisted on CO2 because she had hardwood underneath. I didn't feel like arguing. I told her to call Chem Dry, and then call me to fix it when they're done. She thanked me and hung up.

Yes Paladin, welcome!

Tell a few more independent minded franchisees to visit as well, we always enjoy sharing with the new guys.

Do you run the Legacy system, PowerBase or a CTS as your primary weapon?

As mentioned, there's a few CD guys here

we don't hate all of them,
Just the LOW DOWN LIEING SUNZABITCHES we often encounter in our local areas

which one are you?

One of the ones that LIES like a slithery spit tongue snake to their prospects and custys?

Maybe one of the BRAIN WASHED zombies that don't know any better?

Or one of the few that actually figured out "DUH" it really IS a TM and IS steam cleaning the best CDs are now using?

or are you still a bonnet head only, wiping your way to fame and riches?

I'm amazed at the warm welcome and thank you all. I'm a carpet cleaner first a chem-dry second. I was hot water extraction for years. Used a machine no longer in production STEAMLINER , maybe you heard of it . Self contained like the current STEAMIN DEMON. went to chemdry because of low investment and low liability when in homes. The best method is the one with the best man doing it. At my age 60 I have cleaned a lot fo carpet I know some people where not totally sold and others thought I invented carpet cleaning-guess what -I just did the best I could do with what I had and moved on-for 30 years.I tell even my customers who ask that HWE is great with the right serviceman and get a bad chemdry you'll get a bad job so chose the man (or serviceman) you like best. If he does you a GOOD job use him next time. IT'S JUST CARPET CLEANING.

Paladin;

Steamliner...

That IS a name from the past.

Blue self-contained cylindrical brush extractor.

We had a lot of them in the Dallas area.

No, I wouldn't expect her to consciously lie about the matter, but I can see her being sufficiently confused to get the facts out of order.

And, go on, and on, and on ... about it.

Why Oh why, did I buy the lie?
Chem Dry,
Franchise of my demise.
I'd slice my gums, and gouge my eyes,
but nobody else will by the lie
Chem Dry,
Franchise of my demise!

I lie awake at night and cry,
Oh why?! God why?? Did I buy the lie
Chem Dry
Franchise of my demise.
