What about an led head lamp Grant?

I'd hate wearing one but there's times I could use the light too.

I want the tube contents to be backlit. That way any amount of soil looks impressive. I may paint the back side of the tube white to reduce glaire.

It's a start but in truth it's nowhere near bright enough. In the same way as a cloud can just block out the sun, suds and soil can just block out the light. The light intensity needs to be WAY higher for it to be where it should. So now I am looking for very small high intensity LED strip lighting.

I tried a similar concept by putting an led light on my carpet wand, pointing down at the carpet for those jobs with tons of shadows from the crappy light in the rooms. There were those jobs where I thought a shadow was a dirty area, so I came up with the idea of the light. Unfortunately, it didn't help much, so I trashed the idea. Yours seems to have a better purpose.
