do you get much overspray dribbles at the wand ends?
Generally only noticed on loop pile and CGD

if so, you might try a slight angle on outside jets

That is the issue. I will give that a shot but I was worried about streaking. I'll just have to check as I go.

Oh, you didn't say that was the issue. You're screwed on most wands. Angling the outside jets helps some.

The only wand I've ever owned that could be adjusted effectively enough to solve overspray issues is the DevPro, but I have to angle the outside jets even on it!

Yeah sorry should have been more specific on the thread. Good to know I'm not the only one to experiencing this.

many (most?) don't notice it or pay attention to it .
you don't see it on cut piles, only low and tight loop.

It aggravated the schiite out of me too.

what I discovered, it's not so much the jet over spraying the wand, but splash on the wand side wing dribbling off a stream trail .
to confirm that, hold your wand off the deck and trigger it.
You'll most likely notice drips and dribble stream off the side wings

experiment with jet twist angles
Both directions (outside of jet angled toward wand lips and away)
see which way minimizes the wing drip/dribble

They should be angled about 5 degrees or so.

Aligning the jets is no big deal, but you want to be careful not to over/under tighten them.

Make note of how many 360's it takes to remove each one.

They should all be relatively close +/- 1 full turn.

Re-installing does not have to be exactly the same, but it is a general guideline.

Example if each one came off in 4 or 5 full turns, then with a little teflon, it should be roughly the same going back on, but most importantly, you will know that 6+ turns is too much and asking for trouble.

If your wand is over spraying just lift the handle higher to adjust the distance to the carpet.

What happened to the new mytee dual head wand with the spray bar between the two heads?
I was so looking forward to seeing it reviewed and probably buying it within the next 5 years after they improved it.
