cheap chinese silk Mikey- even for the ignorant, the tag on the back would give you a clue. These are a real pain in the ass cause they are fairly cheap and purchasers are often given the impression from unscroupulous salespeople they they are investment grade rugs. They are crap.

Well I did read the Made In Chine label but what makes it "cheap" in your eyes?


It's soft, has pretty colors, held a tremendous amount of dirt with out wearing, the fringe did not brown, the colors did not run and it didn't shrink and cleaned up nice.

Can the expensive rugs do all that?
