Another Poultice situation

This client installed a new cooktop. Hopefully you can see from the photos, there is a half to one inch light ring around it now. My intial thought is trying to use a poultice to try and blend it in but Im afraid I might open pandora's box and make it more noticeable since the wring will get larger. Thoughts ?

As Mike says, either need to do the entire slab or just do nothing for a few weeks and it will all look the same.

Degreaser under a steam mop could help. Just depends on the stone being willing to give it up.

just spread poultice over the whole top. It will take a few days to dry out. Maybe one more application after that, but it should come out. It won't be cheap, but if they want it done, it can be done.
