People usually get one way too big for their needs.

Be sure you're going to use it. We have a jet tub that might get used once a year, on a good year. It takes 40 gallons to fill, draining the hot water tank filling it. We use it mostly to throw our dirty towels in until it's a load to be washed.

Something we wouldn't do if we had to do over again. Well I wouldn't. :winky:

    DO IT!!

I have had mine for 14 years and love it. In our line of work it's a must have, nothing beats spending an hour in the tub after work. Caldera is an excellent choice mfg by Watkins; who also makes Hot Springs.

I use my tub mostly in the winter, spring and fall.

A man jumps out of an airplane with a parachute on his back. As he's falling, he realizes his chute is broken. He doesn't know anything about parachutes, but as the earth rapidly approaches, he realizes his options are limited; he takes off the parachute and tries to fix it himself on the way down. The wind is ripping past his face, he's dropping like a rock, and at 5000 feet, another man goes shooting up past him. In desperation, the man with the chute looks up and yells, "Hey do you know anything about parachutes?!"

The guy flying up looks down and yells, "No, do you know anything about gas stoves?!"

Mikey would be yelling..... "Do you know anything about Hot Tubs?!"

    We love our hot tub.

A hot tub soak would send my heart into an arrhythmia that I might not recover from.

Even a hot shower causes palpitations.

Come visit with Saiger and Jimberton in January, we can take care of this once and for all.

One minute in a hot tub and I can sleep for ten hours. It totally wipes me out.

I have my water heater cranked. I like it super hot on my neck shoulders and back. It wipes me out a little bit too.

Skip the hot tub and find a good massage therapist. More bang for the buck.

If your heart goes into arythmia elevate your feet and put a cold towel or ice in your face to shock your heart back to beating right. I use to have to that a lot. It scares Genny when I turn grey.

Don’t allow children into a hot tub. It can elevate their body temperature to the point their (immature) ovaries or testes are permanently damaged.

    Truth.

My heart use to beat so hard and still does occasionally that you could see it through my clothes. It would pulse at least half an inch in and out.

Sometimes my blood pressure would drop so low I would loose my vision and strength. I could only hear and barely talk. Had it happen driving once. Couldn't even push the gas pedal. That was a scary time because my chest never hurt that way before. Was afraid I wouldn't wake up the next day.
