Anyone doing adword campaigns for water damage/mold?

Adwords must work because so many are doing it. We are in the Athens, Ga. area,(250,000 people) but most of the sponsored ads in this area are from companies 60-80 miles away in Atlanta.
Are any of you using adwords for lead generation?

Just about finished a year spending $1,400.00 A month. It didn't do that well for us. Pulled incredible numbers but not so great at converting that into work.

Going to try something else this year.
