Look at a 55 gallon drum, specifically the ribs rolled around the circumference.

That helps resist damage from side impacts.

To minimize sloshing a perforated panel can be included.

Deflection panels at the top guide incoming water downward away from the vacuum source, minimizing turbulence.

Whadya think.....do they make the roll on the flat stock.....or after they they form the cylinder. ...?????

Wow , I would have guessed on the Flat stock. I've seen them make Aluminum bicycle rims---like they were a curly fry. They feed the extrusion through the rollers and about 6 rims come out of one straight piece.

Ahh HA....that was a test question. ....you can not roll a cylinder shape between two rollers with a bead bend already in it.....Lee is one sharp cookie.....
