My 45 is leaking dope when sitting on a slight incline.

Can a gasket go bad on these blowers? Has about 3600 hrs on it.

Gotta pull the machine to check the drain plug but all other plugs are tight.

What you think?

I'd rather suspect someone inadvertently switched plugs when checking or filling the oil on the gear end. There are three plugs threaded identically: the drain, side, and the vented top. When the pump is turned on it's side to be switched from horizontal operation to vertical, or vice versa, the plug position will likewise be switched. Vent plug always ends up on top.

I think someone may have put the vent plug in the SIDE opening. No problem until on an incline.

Larry I haven't used a mirror yet. I replaced my drain hose early spring. I will try the mirror.

From the dope trail it is coming from the backside of the blower. Would be nice if there was any room at all back there.
