Looks great!!

I have an idea..........

Since you like direct drives so much........... you should buy White Magic!! And put your own twist to them!

Why not?

White Magic started out as a Steam Genie distributor. I remember ads in the trade journals of the late seventies. Thus two new mfg's from the same area of MA started making their versions of the SG at about the same time...WM, and Butler.

If I'm not mistaken the drive shaft is at the same angle as the crankshaft. Everything runs at the same angle, eliminating the need for a universal joint.

any car or van drivetrain has a downward slant....aimed at the differential.....
the Genies all have this angle built in

Hey I have a question for anyone. Will an automotive muffler accomplish a good percentange of suppression in comparison to a Universal Blower Silencer? Does it take 2ea. mufflers? Thanks.

What's the newest van you've put one in...?
Look DUane..heres what i tell the guys that call me...
go out and SHOP THE SHIT outta an 02 or earlier...get a low milage like CRASH did...
$4000.00...put a $6000.00 Genie in it....and you got a bulletproof machine for 12 to 15 years...for about $69.00 a month......that WON'T blow up or make you smell like diesel fuel all day!
they CAN be put into brand new chevy vans..but it's a lot more work!

THIS is CRASHES van..an 01 wit 72000 on it that he got for under FOUR GRAND....

it takes TWO expansion chambers to knock the top and bottom of a sine wave down......
you see one right at the blower and then i put another underneath the truck....

Shawn's been pretty quiet about it, although he worked there for many years. He left after the last owners took over, and expressed his regrets about the direction the company took before folding.

Like carpet cleaners who do a good job cleaning carpet, but fail to see that success depends on having survival skills in business, many GREAT truckmount builders end up in the dustbin of history for the same reasons.

Thanks,
Lee
