Looking to pick a CRB used from friend.
It kinda bounces as you use it. Only experience is cgd with heavy wear.

Blue brushes where the worst.
Black was much better.

Is it just flat spots on brushes from cradle??

Bouncing almost always means a flat spot on the brushes. Try running them under hot water to see if that will reset the bristles to their original straightness. Time may also help a little.
Don't let the crib set on this bristles, the cause of flat spots. Always replace back on the included base or tip onto its side or back when you are pausing for a bit.

Did you soak the brushes in hot water?
... like a Facebook thread now.

He could do that, but it'd be cool to rotate one brush 15 degrees off so he gets that classic Harley "potato potato" rhythm.

Or if he wants REALLY hot water, he could just make a fart joke on Mikey's Facebook page.
