We have a dry ice blaster.

Maybe it's a soda blaster...

I've never had to mediablast a sofa so I don't really know. (We just HWE those)

Less expensive and less aggressive.

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), works great for removing soot, from wood and metal.

It's little slow for removing paint, but you can use walnut hulls as the media for paint. It uses more material and is nowhere near as easy cleanup as soda.

I think a bag an a half an hour on most of the tanks, the bad ones 2-bags an hour.

I'll have to check on the total, I know we had a full pallet to begin with and we still have quite a bit left.
