Any pics? For small stains I use a combination of heat and volatile solvents. If it is olefin (polypropylene) you have to be careful not to over heat it. If using a steam iron, do not let it touch the carpet. Melt it, absorb it into a brown paper bag or cloth, repeat until no more is absorbed. Use something like Prochem power solvent and a bone scraper to remove the rest. Careful with the solvent as it will delaminate the carpet. Use a rag to wet the wax with the solvent

Best method to remove wax stain on cgd?

removing wax?
or dye left after wax is gone?

candle wax removal is easy peasy if your TM will make 220+ temps.
Trigger the wand over the wax and will melt out and rinse away in pretty short order
even if only 180 ATM, you still melt/rinse it out .
use a hand tool like the PMF enclosed flood jet tool to concentrate heat and flush it away

piece-o-cake

any dyes left behind can be more troublesome.
treat them with your favorite dye stain remover and steam
