Cleaning for Cal-Fire and US Forestry service

I spent the day cleaning in 100+ temps. It sure felt good to get home and jump in the pool. This is a really cool place to clean. It’s where they coordinate everything when Northern California goes up in flames. CDF, OES, USDF and a couple other agencies all work out of this place. The fire bombers are parked right next to the building along with the other planes that the Smoke jumpers use. You can feel the pride that the people that work here have in their job.

Sorry can’t share any pictures of the inside, but it’s like a NASA facility. Computer screens everywhere and everything is linked to other state and Federal agencies. Large conference rooms and screens, entire walls covered in maps and blinking lights.

It was a good day.

the State always asked me to clean on credit, invoices paid beyond 45 days (like way beyond, like forever....). I used to ask Fish&Game and several other departments who called me if they paid their catering vendors COD. "of course", never could convince them to treat me like a caterer.

The last time I cleaned it took me 99 days to get paid. This time they offered to pay with a credit card. So nice.
