Just got a pail yesterday. It has dilution ratios to use as a rinse.

Anyone use it for a rinse?

:shock:

I wouldn't... It doesn't rinse that well with water let alone in the rinse water... Use it for prespray on the nasties (& use a rinse agent). The stuff cuts grease like a champ but... Unless it has been reformulated it I'd say its a bad idea to use it as a rinse. Just my opinion.

That might be Cobbs recommended dilution ratio. I have used it 2oz per gal for light soil and 4oz for heavy, works well. I have also noticed chem makers tend to recommend more than is really needed.

I thought it was odd too about the dilutions for rinse, I think 3 cups in the 5 gallon tank, meter at 2-4. Seems like it would leave a residue.

hopefully Larry will chime in.

Just dusted off my hydroforce which I haven't used in months. Will try it in a restaurant tonight.

Hi Albert;

It is used primarily as a prespray product.

It can be used in the extraction rinse, if time to clean is the main driving factor.

Dilution ratios are difficult to determine;
one customer may have a 100 PSI portable with cold water,
versus a 38 HP, #5 blower with 240° of heat.

Amounts of prespray will also vary from cleaner to cleaner.

For rinsing I would only use about 1 oz. per gallon of cleaning solution.

Thanks for the question.

Larry
