Does anyone do this anymore? I have a customer that has some real blotchy tile I did two test spots and there was little improvement with Oxyblaster and Viper renew.

Some say it's all they ever use. Never the clear option.

after years of applying it I found it worked best on new unsaturated, perfect grout.

Try selling that.

Have you tried cleaning it with some floor stripper yet? That might help with the blotchyness.

I never could get color sealer to last very long without peeling in random areas. I see peeling color sealer all the time, so I don't think it is something that I'm doing wrong.

I once sealed my driveway with some xylene-based product. Stunk to high heaven.
Lasted seven years outside with no particular signs of breakdown.
If I ever do a grout color job, that's what I'll use.

I see it as a last ditch option before replacement...get another year or two from the old tile but like Mike said it isn't going to stick to old grout for long. Restaurants/Fast Food Restaurants do it on new installations so must help with maintenance for them.

I just went to an estimate for a very large tile job. Well, large.... anyway, turns out it was all color sealed. Ugh. I ended up walking. It was a really sloppy color seal too. This is one of those jobs that would haunt me. Some jobs just aren't worth the risk.

No. At least not by referencing the location in your email. That is secure/private

You can see it because you are allowed to see your email...we aren'T

You can drag/drop the image in a message , copy/paste the image itself, or upload the image
